We originally settled for yellow flowers for some reason, even though yellow isn't really one of our colors. It was supposed to be a subsistute for orange. For some reason I think I forgot about california poppies! So I'll have to look into using these rather than those yellow buttercups that I posted earlier.
Good idea, but California poppies are really delicate and wilt quickly after you pick them! It's the time of year that effects flower choices, too.
